Terms of use
- You may embed the map unchanged in an <iframe> on any website – a blog, a news site, a school or company page, also a commercial one – as long as the credit stays visible.
- Do not alter the data or present the map as your own work; the colours, legend and sources must stay as published.
- Data licences of the sources below apply in addition (e.g. CC BY 4.0 – credit the source).
- Other uses (print, modified graphics, bulk use of the data) – contact Ominuvo; the data themselves can be reused under the licences of their sources.
Excluded from embeds
- Datasets for non-commercial use only (commercial: false in the Ominuvo dataset registry – e.g. Smithsonian GVP volcanoes, FAO food data) are not offered.
- Photos licensed CC BY-SA, CC BY-NC or with unclear terms are not shown; only public domain, CC0 and CC BY photos (with author and licence) appear, loaded from Wikimedia Commons only after a click.
- No Wikipedia texts (CC BY-SA); descriptions are written by Ominuvo editors.
- Indicators with non-commercial data (FAO: calorie supply, meat supply – CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 IGO) are not available for embedding.
